Blue Derby Mountain Bike Trails

The Blue Derby mountain bike trails lie near the historic town of Derby in Tasmania’s northeast. They have been specifically designed by and for mountain bikers, traversing spectacular temperate rainforest landscapes and including both natural and man-made features.

There are challenging switchbacks to tackle, waterfalls to explore, and relics from the town’s former mining operations to discover. The main trail head in Derby is equipped with public toilets, showers and even a bike wash facility, and the trails have been given the “thumbs up” by American mountain biking legend, Scot Nicol.
