Lark Distillery

Situated next door to the Visitor Information Centre on Hobart’s waterfront, the Lark Distillery cellar door and whisky bar is one of the state’s leading single malt whisky producers, and the first to be licensed since it began operating in 1839. You can opt for a whisky tasting in their characterful bar, take a distillery tour at their Coal River Valley operations, or book a two day immersive experience to learn all the behind-the-scenes processes of making fine whiskey (including harvesting Tasmanian peat). There’s live music in the bar on Friday and Saturday evenings, and you can order local cheese platters to nibble on while you savour their single malt.
Reached on one of our Hobart Transfers.
