Salamanca Market

Every Saturday at Salamanca Place is the famous Salamanca Market in Hobart that opens at 8.30 and closes a 3pm.

At Salamanca Market you will find it. Old stuff, collectables, arts and craft, great local produce jewellery, clothing and more.

A significant following of visitors both local, interstate and international has meant the quality of much of the arts and craft on display is of a very high standard.

Salamanca Market is place to sample and experience Tasmania and where Australia started.

Buskers, musicians and entertainers keep the non-shopper entertained.

There is a free park and ride available from the City Centre, Buses depart regularly from the Regatta Grounds.
