Eguide's Sunrise Transfer from Launceston to Cradle Mountain Sets You Ahead of the Pack

Launceston serves as the most popular starting and ending point for Overland Track transport. With numerous flights to Launceston Airport and a plethora of accommodation options.

Eguide offers a direct early start for our transfer to Cradle Mountain. Departing Launceston at 6:20 am, we head direct to enable you to be the first to register for the Overland Track and beat the check-in bus queues. Breakfast is available in Launceston prior to our departure at Banjos and McDonalds, both places we can pick up from if you prefer. We pick you up from all central hotels and accommodations in Launceston. Breakfast is also available at the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre cafe after you have checked in. We can store bags if you are returning with us, gas is available for sale on each bus.

Launceston to Cradle Mountain
Our last pick up is Banjos Bakery at 6.20am and all earlier ones will be from your hotel or accommodation in Central Launceston. We will arrive at Cradle Mountain around 8.20am. On the way we might pick up other guests in Deloraine or Sheffield.

Launceston to Cradle Mountain PRIVATE TRANSFER
For some groups the timing is too early and in particular if you are nto starting until the next morning or arriving on an early morning flight and aiming to start the same day. The private transfer is at times to suit you. Larger groups might prefer a private transfer.

Launceston to Lake St Clair
During the period June to September it is possible to start at Lake St Clair and complete at Cradle Mountain. Eguide offers this route during this period departing at around 9am to arrive in time to catch the 12.30pm ferry to Narcissus Hut for those using.

Lake St Clair to Launceston
We depart from Lake St Clair at 2 pm, allowing you to utilize all the morning and lunchtime ferries. This timing also provides enough time to walk from Narcissus Hut. A common alternative is to spend the last night at Echo Point, making for an easy last day to walk out. We encourage guests to consider walking out as it saves a lot of hassle with the ferry, and the walk along the lake is very pleasant.

Cradle Mountain to Launceston ( June - September)
For those walking south to north, we meet you at the end at Cradle Mountain and transfer you back to Launceston. This route is available in both the morning and afternoon. Some guests might like to spend the night at Cradle and depart the next morning.
