Park your car at Lake St Clair and spend the night in  in Deloraine TOP CHOICE
Park at Lake St Clair and let us transfer you to Deloraine for a convenient, budget-friendly overnight stay. Enjoy great-value accommodation, dining options, and last-minute shopping at Woolworths. After breakfast, we’ll get you to Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre as the first to register. In the evening look for a platypus.

Parking your car at Lake St Clair and spend the night in Sheffield
Alternatively, you can park at Lake St Clair and overnight in Sheffield, which offers great-value accommodation, dining options, and a supermarket. The bakery opens early—perfect for a good breakfast before we take you to Cradle Mountain to be the first to register. In the evening, enjoy a stroll among the town’s famous murals.

Park in Deloraine, Transfer to Cradle Mountain, return from Lake St Clair
Park worry-free in Deloraine while you embark on your Overland Track adventure. Parking is available at the Deloraine Hotel, Empire Hotel or Apex Caravan Park if you book to stay there, mention eGuide. And lots of safe street parking. We transfer you to Cradle Mountain in the morning in time to be the first to register and bring you back to your car from Lake St Clair.

Parking in Sheffield, Transfer to Cradle Mountain and return to you car from Lake St Clair
Park in Sheffield, with convenient options available at the Sheffield Motor Inn and Pioneer Holiday Units if you stay there or at the Arts Centre. Our departure from Sheffield is set for 7:20am, returning from Lake St Clair at 2pm, ensuring a seamless journey from start to finish.

Park in Devonport, Transfer to Cradle Mountain and return from Lake St Clair
Park in Devonport at the Spirit of Tasmania car park, take our overland track shuttle to Cradle Mountain reaching as the first group to register and return to Devonport from Lake St Clair. Devonport has many places to stay, shops and restaurants.

Park at Lake St. Clair and transfer to Cradle Mountain
Park at Lake St Clair and we’ll transfer you to Cradle Mountain, ready to start your walk the next morning. On a budget? Overnight in Sheffield or Deloraine for lower cost accommodaiton and great-value dining.

Start and finish your Overland Track adventure with ease. With our valet service, you can park at one end and have your vehicle delivered to the other, ready and waiting when you finish. Ideal for walkers seeking flexibility without backtracking. Your vehicle must be insured for our driver to use. Leave your car at our base in Devonport or at Cradle Mountain.

Parking Information

Lake St Clair
Safe parking is available at Lake St Clair Lodge and Visitor Centre. Collect a free pass from the visitor centre at Lake St Clair.

Cradle Mountain
Safe parking is available at the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre. A parks pass should be displayed.

Sheffield
Parking is available if you stay at Pioneer Holiday Units or Sheffield Motor Inn. Public parking at the Arts Centre. For caravans, campervans and those wanting secure parking Gowrie Park Caravan Park is the best option.

Deloraine
Parking is available at Deloraine Hotel, Empire Hotel or the the Deloraine Apex Caravan Park if you stay there. Additionally lots of street parking. And other hotels,just task.

Devonport
Free street parking outside our office, we can keep an eye out as well.
