Spirit of Tasmania Shuttle
The easy connection between the Spirit of Tasmania terminal and Devonport City
Commencing 1st November 2026
eGuide’s new shuttle service provides a convenient connection between the Spirit of Tasmania terminal and central Devonport. The service will commence on 1 November 2026, coinciding with the arrival of the new Spirit of Tasmania ships operating from Geelong. Designed especially for foot passengers, the shuttle makes it easy to reach Devonport accommodation, public transport connections and destinations across Tasmania without hiring a car.
Shuttles are $10 per person if booked in advance, and $15 per person if booked on the day.
Spirit of Tasmania to Devonport City
Our shuttle meets every arriving Spirit of Tasmania ship and transfers passengers from the terminal to central Devonport.
From Devonport City, passengers can:

Travelling on an evening sailing?
Our shuttle departs from central Devonport at 5:00 pm (time TBC) for the Spirit of Tasmania terminal, providing a simple and reliable way to reach the ship.
Spend the day exploring Devonport or arrive from another part of Tasmania before joining the shuttle for your transfer to the terminal. Continue to Cradle Mountain and Sheffield.
Devonport is the closest city to Cradle Mountain and an ideal starting point for exploring north-west Tasmania.
